Pieces & Moments

"We all know that it's hard to forgive people that have hurt us deeply, especially when they do over and over again. Seeing pictures of them when they were toddlers or young children help us to realize many things. Babies are not born with a distinct desire to hurt others physically or emotionally. They are born craving love and protection. Our tormentors were pure and innocent once. It becomes clear that their hurtful acts as older children or adults likely stem from their own wounds. The biggest challenge is not to become one like this."
(Forgiveness, Anthology)

"It was love at first hearing."
(Eagle's Nest, Chapter 1)

"They could really experience
The soul of a child
The sound of  angels
The confidence of a little boy."
(The sound of an angel, Anthology)

"He would see many things that anyone ever tried
She gave up her dreams
That he could have a better vision of himself
Of what he was capable to do
To be and to go"
(Whispers of Heaven, Anthology, 2011)

"Good mothers come in many styles. No mother is perfect, but all have wisdom. Nurturing our own self esteem is essential, for us and for our children. The differences between each one of us are good.
We should not covet our friends mothering style. We are enough, just the way we are. Mothering is important. It’s our way of telling the world we were here.
We need less ‘do it this way’ and more support for finding our own way. Every mother has strengths and struggles according to our personality."
(Joy of Motherhood, 2011)
