Bio

Chris Ayres is an awarded author of non fiction, memoirs and photography. She has published in Portuguese and English.

She is an awarded winner of Unicamp University prosa e poesia contests in plays, stories and biographies, 1985 to 1987, 2005 to 2009.


She had participation with poems and cronicles on her father's books on the 80s and 90s, Dalmar Ayres, author of Luz Interior I (1982), Luz Interior II (1987) and Trevas Luminosas (1992).

She was an awarded finalist of the international contest Parley P. Pratt for LDS stories, 2010, and her story got published in a book with the winners of the contest:

She was originally born in Brazil, with roots from Jewish and Italian cultures, a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and lives in Utah USA with her family.
